Policy and Advocacy Intern

In addition to the essential skills and experiences listed above, the following are essential for this role:

• Research skills, and experience in drafting policy papers.
• Interest in Advocacy and Policy: Passion for advocacy and a deep understanding of policy-making processes.
• Knowledge of the EU Legislative processes, and UN processes: Familiarity with the functioning of the European Union and its legislative procedures and/or familiarity with UN bodies and processes (in relation to freedom of expression, and internet governance).

This is a four-month paid position (20-30 hours/week from August until the end of November 2024) with the possibility of an extension that is open to remote applicants; living in Brussels is not required (but preferred).
