Payments and services if you have a mental illness

You may be able to get a payment from Services Australia. Some of these links will take you away from myGov.

Disability Support Pension

Help if you have a permanent physical, intellectual or psychiatric condition.

Mobility Allowance

This helps with travel costs for work, study, training or looking for work if you have disability, illness or injury.

JobSeeker Payment

A payment for people between 22 and 66 years old who are looking for work, or who can’t work or study for a short time.

Concession cards

There are concession and health care cards from Services Australia. These cards can help with the cost of health services and medicines. Some of these links will take you away from myGov.

Health Care Card

A concession card to get cheaper medicines and some discounts if you get a payment.

Low Income Health Care Card

A concession card to get cheaper health care and some discounts if you’re on a low income.
